Ironman UK 20th July 2014 Bolton
The date is 6th November 2013. I have received an email from Macmillan Cancer Support, to advise me that my application to participate in Ironman UK 2014 as part of team Macmillan has been successful! This blog has been created to capture my journey over the next 8 and a half months as I prepare for, and ultimately take part in the most significant physical and psychological challenge of my life. I have created this blog, partly selfishly as a keep-sake and memoir of my journey towards Ironman, but also, I hope as inspiration for others that are interested in finding out just what it takes to become an Ironman, and hopefully to inspire others to take on significant challenges of their own. All of the sponsorship money that I raise through undertaking this challenge is going directly to Macmillan Cancer Support.-
